NAB 2018 – Arvato Systems showcased the true editing mobility and the future of media management
Together, Arvato Systems and Vidispine exhibited at the NAB Show in Las Vegas at Booth SU6714. Following the acquisition of Vidispine in November 2017, NAB Show featured the first public demonstration of Arvato Systems' products that integrate Vidispine technology alongside a whole host of other innovations.
Our Highlights at 2018 NAB Show
VPMS EditMate
NAB will see the launch of the SaaS (software as a service) edition of the award winning EditMate collaborative editing and production asset management system for Adobe® Premiere® Pro. Affordable and scalable monthly subscriptions for the service will be available later this spring along with the ability to add additional media management functionality. With the embedded Arvato Systems streaming server, visitors will also be able to see how EditMate can enable editors to work from anywhere, maintaining a full client experience while reducing infrastructure costs.
VPMS Platform
Built on the most flexible data model and object repository in the market, VPMS Platform combines state-of-the-art technology with decades of experience in enterprise media management to provide content management and workflow orchestration that mirrors business requirements and reduces integration overhead. At the Arvato Systems booth at NAB 2018, experts will be demonstrating how users can configure and customize Platform to taylor it for any environment, without the need for bespoke development.
BMS Avatega
Utilizing concepts from other industries, the rights management and scheduling solutions in BMS Avatega enable broadcasters to minimize the average unit cost of programming and maximize revenue. Applying a programmatic approach Avatega offers significant efficiency gains by automating scheduling tasks for linear and catch-up services while also increasing rights utilization.
Vidispine
NAB 2018 will see the launch of Vidispine API-as-a-Service as part of Vidinet, the cloud-based media services platform with limitless scalability. It’s the same full-featured API; on tap and managed by the Vidispine operations team. Vidispine will also show other additions to the ever-growing Vidinet platform.
